Rocio Palomino, MA
Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist #73928
I see one of my most sacred jobs as a therapist as that of companion. I am someone who accompanies each of my clients on their own individual journeys of discovery, healing, growth and expansion. My training affords me the knowledge and experience necessary to create a safe place for my clients to come and explore what is true for each of them.
I graduated from John. F. Kennedy University with a Masters in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Transpersonal psychology. Simply put this means that I view each individual who enters my office as someone who already has what they need to be whole. As a result I feel that it is important to take into account all aspects of a person body, mind, and spirit when deciding what would most help them.
I am comfortable working with individuals who are dealing with a wide variety of issues such as depression, anxiety, relationship issues, goal setting, disability and chronic pain. I work with individuals using a variety of modalities including, cognitive behavioral therapy, guided meditation, expressive arts therapy, authentic movement and ritual creation.
Spanish speaking clients are also welcome.
