There comes a time when we want to make a different choice for ourselves: sometimes we need some extra support, a voice outside of ourselves to help us navigate choices in our life experiences. I honor the courage it takes to explore this uncertainty, and I am here to help. Together we can co-create a place in your life where I accompany you in a journey of self-discovery. Meeting you where you are, honoring your wisdom and supporting your own knowing are important to me.
Through a therapeutic relationship we will bring attention to the places where repeating patterns or beliefs exist that may no longer serve you. Whether you are experiencing doubts, anxiety, loneliness, loss, transition, or struggles in relationships and your communication, I trust that together we can create a space where you hold yourself with compassion and generosity of spirit. From that place, the possibility of new choices will emerge.
I trust this work and the aliveness that it brings. I feel inspired by witnessing people’s capacity to step forward more fully in their lives with compassion and courage.
I have come to this process through my own journey of reflection and introspection. It’s been remarkable to watch my relationship to self and other transform through my experience of inner work. It is important for me to continue my own healing journey as I support others with their struggles and triumphs.
Additionally, I love baking, traveling, hiking, dancing, yoga, and painting as well as spending time with friends and family.
I received a Master's in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Integral Counseling from the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS). I worked with adult clients at a Gestalt-based community mental health clinic. I gained experience working with children and teens as a school-based counselor and facilitated mindfulness and grief support groups. Alongside my private practice, I have worked with young adults ages 14-26. Currently, I maintain a private practice for adults via telehealth.
I view therapy as a co-created journey towards healing and recognize the interrelationships of the mind, body, heart, and spirit in this space. I am grounded in present-moment-based Gestalt Therapy approach which encourages the cultivation of one’s awareness of their experience in the here and now. I offer explorations in mindfulness, somatics, and expressive arts in our work and work intuitively and experientially. I believe that through building self-support and increasing awareness of our inner landscape, choice emerges, and we are able to step more fully into a relationship with our authentic selves.
Working somatically with present moment awareness and creative interventions, I highlight what is arising in the space between us. Doing so will be a reflection of what we may be holding from our past and see if there are possibilities for new choices to emerge. I value the therapeutic relationship and will include that as a resource in our work.
