On the surface, you have everything under control, but behind closed doors, alcohol is your only true confidant. Except lately, the liquid in the glass can no longer muffle the whisper of discontentment.
Life has slowly reduced to a numbing cycle of waiting for a momentary escape, only to wake and repeat. You've tried to just “cut back” but always find yourself falling back into the old pattern. You checked out a few AA meetings but couldn’t see how surrendering your power would help.
Therapy, once an avenue for others, now calls to you—maybe, here, you could find what has been missing.
But the last thing you want is a therapist who would distill your complexities into a simple verdict “drinking problem.”
You need someone who sees beyond the facade and into your essence. Someone who understands that your relationship with alcohol is not a marker of weakness, but a signpost pointing towards deeper needs—a yearning for joy, intimacy, or the search for meaning.
Once a decade-long daily drinker, now a curiosity guide and psychotherapist, I partner with individuals who have grown tired of using alcohol to fill the void within.
I specialize in unearthing what’s beneath the daily drinking ritual, getting to the root of the unspoken pain, and aiding people in reinventing a life that's not just lived but cherished.
If you’re a courageous traveler at heart and ready to risk outgrowing alcohol in order to find your brand of happiness and meaning, I’m your person.

Start here: Initial Phone Consultation – 25 minutes, Free
Let’s start with a conversation. This free 25-minute phone call is our chance to get to know each other. We’ll discuss your reasons for seeking therapy and what you hope to achieve. If it feels right for both of us, we’ll schedule two in-depth assessment sessions. If there’s a sense that another therapist might better suit your needs, I will guide you to a trusted colleague.
Next: Initial Assessment – Three 50-minute sessions, $180 each
These three sessions are our opportunity to lay the groundwork. We’ll discuss your history, current situation, and overall well-being to get a clear picture of where you’re at and where you’d like to go. After these sessions, I’ll offer my initial thoughts, and we’ll outline a path forward, with the understanding that our plan may evolve as we progress. By the end of our third session, we will have a clear sense of our compatibility and make a mutual decision about continuing our journey together.
Ongoing Therapy – 50 minutes, $180 per session
Once we decide to work together, our sessions will become a regular space for reflection and growth. We’ll explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and how they influence the way you engage with the world and your relationship with alcohol. Together, we’ll address any self-limiting beliefs and outdated coping strategies, working at a pace that feels comfortable to you. As your therapist, I’ll support you in tapping into your own insights and finding your authentic self.
I believe that every one of us can, and deserves to have a happy and free life.
I believe deeply in adaptiveness and resiliency. I see addiction as an adaptation—as humans, we do things to adapt in order to survive—substance use behavior is no exception. I also have deep faith in your ability to heal—as human resiliency is in each and every one of us—you can heal, and you can get your life back from addiction!
