We all want to feel at our best and as we weave through the years and experiences we do not always show up as our “best” selves. As your therapist, I will provide a confidential, loving, and empathetic space using tools that are compassionate, encouraging, and client-lead. During our sessions together, I want my clients to feel they are moving in a direction that is empowering and leading them down the path to feeling their best self again.
Like us all, my life experiences have guided my career passions and interests. I am a single mother and work full-time. I can relate to the chaos so many of us feel and the stress of life pressures. I strive to maintain balance each day, I take a small amount of time for me to feel centered and motivated to continue to live each day to the fullest.
Therapy has always been a tool that I seek to help maintain balance. I appreciate the neutral, objective perspective that therapy can provide. I live my life through mindfulness, self-awareness, and using a solution-focused lens to help guide me to say empowered through life’s adventures.
I have 15+ years of experience working with groups, couples, and individuals helping them make lasting behavioral changes to their emotional, mental, and physical health. Most of my experience has been working with patients in a health care setting. In my previous roles, I met weekly with the individuals, couples, and groups I was partnering with to provide psychoeducation, tools to continue to make behavioral changes, and support.
Over the past 15 years, my approach to providing care has been enhanced through partnering with my patients. Every individual or couple has varying needs and as a provider, I want to meet every person or couple where they are through assessing their needs, learning more about their background, and environments.
I value strength, wholeness, and love.
I am a believer in self-improvement, I think as human beings we should always be striving to be the best version of ourselves. We, as human beings, are not perfect and will never be perfect, but learning about ourselves so that we can hold our heads up a little higher each day is what keeps me motivated to help others. I try to treat others how I want to be treated, for me that manifests in treating people with respect, kindness, and open-mindedness. If I can improve the way an individual values themselves (physically, mentally, emotionally, and/or spiritually), I will feel like I have done my job as a therapist.
