My name is Nicolas. I am a somatic therapist working with individuals and couples. In my practice, I see people who stopped believing in therapy, therapists as well as people new to the idea of getting mental help.

I first wanted to study psychotherapy back when I was 16. On one hand, I have always been fascinated by the human psyche, on the other, I was crippled by anxiety, shame, low self esteem, and difficulty to concentrate. It affected every single aspect of my life. While that isn’t the ideal ground for a great teen experience, it turns out it makes for a solid background to become a therapist!

I know what it feels like to fall in the dark; what loneliness, even amongst friends and family, is like. I know how difficult it can be to reach out for help. I also know the sweet and frightening experience of actually receiving the help we so deeply need. Most importantly, I know that no matter what we have been through and how distressed we may be, it is possible to get better.

This is what I am aiming to offer to every single client coming through my door. If I assess that I can't give it to you, I will commit to helping you find someone who can.

However big or small your level of distress, whether your mind thinks you deserve help or says you don't, I am here to tell you: reaching out to get help, sharing whatever burden is weighing on you, is already a transformative action towards health.

I am Belgian, and I work in French and English. I specialize working with immigrants (first and second generation) and couples coming from different cultural backgrounds as well as men looking to improve their emotional life and relational skills. My style of therapy is somatic relational and I work with trauma, anxiety and self esteem issues. Clients call me warm, direct, pragmatic, sensitive, humourous, no bs type of a therapist.
