Life is beautiful…but it also sucks. I help people navigate the moments when life feels like it’s come undone. Whether its grief after a loss, the unraveling of a marriage, the exhaustion of burnout, or the uncanny sense of not feeling at home in your own life. These are painful moments, but I see them as invitations: places where something new is struggling to be born.
As a clinician, I work best with clients who are willing to be curious about their inner world, even when it’s uncomfortable. My style blends depth-oriented exploration with practical tools that help translate insight into real action and change. If you’re in a season of transition and searching for meaning, stability, or a clearer sense of self, let’s work together to see you through to the other side.
Therapy is a conversation that helps you hear the parts of yourself you’ve been avoiding, silencing, or misunderstanding. When those parts are acknowledged, life starts to shift in surprising ways.
The healing happens through relationship. Having someone really present with you without judgment or rushing. This creates the space for something deeper to unfold. Therapy is where you can show up as your whole self, messy and complicated, and find that you’re still met with respect and care.
With couples, I draw on Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and psychodynamic perspectives to map the patterns that keep you stuck, surface the emotions beneath them, and provide practical tools that build secure connection.
With individuals, I integrate psychodynamic and existential therapy to cultivate insight, emotional awareness, and create meaning—paired with evidence-based skills from CBT and DBT to support action and real change.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent nearly a decade in the energy sector as an engineer and consultant, with a desire to help aid in the transition to non-carbon emitting electricity sources. The work was demanding and at times rewarding. But I always had a love of psychology and felt a calling to help others confront the big questions in life.
In grad school, I dove deep into depth psychology, an area of study largely focused on the unconscious. In many ways modern psychology has forgotten to pay reverence to the mystery of the human experience, preferring a more scientific approach to therapy. While I value this practicality, I feel lucky that my education at Pacifica Graduate Institute has allowed me to stay immersed in both worlds.
My dual background lets me listen with both heart and mind: I can hold intensity, see structure, map dynamics, and help you craft a next chapter that is grounded, meaningful, and resonant with who you really are.
