During this time, caring for our mental health is essential to get through this together. To do our part to flatten the curve I have moved all of my sessions to either over the phone or a HIPAA compliant online video service. Be well, Be safe.
Are you in transition? Struggling with anxiety, depression, self-criticism, or low self-esteem and tired of simply surviving? Wanting to feel more empowered in your life, relationships, and at work? Are you seeking a warm, caring therapist who will listen and help support you? Who is devoted to your wellbeing and can offer both the practical help and emotional support to help you to thrive? If so, I'd like to help.
I work with adolescents, women, men, and couples desiring new opportunities for themselves and their lives. Often at a crossroads, struggling with the aftermath of their early family lives, coping with overwhelm or loss, or trying to find ways to live more at peace with themselves and their loved ones, my clients come from all walks of life.
As my client, I will treat you with respect, thoughtfulness, and compassion. Whether you want to learn more about yourself and your feelings, develop new skills, cope with life's challenges, or pursue a journey of self-discovery, we will work together to create an experience tailored to your specific needs and goals.
If you are struggling or simply want an ally in creating a better life, I invite you to call me.
I have experience in working with children ages 12 and up, adults, and couples. I am a holistic therapist who can hold space for any and all concerns that clients may have. I also have a wealth of knowledge in transpersonal therapy. I feel it is important to look at ourselves as a whole to find where we have pieces missing. This includes, but is not limited to, our physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual selves as well as who we are within relationships. I identify as a humanistic-relational therapist. Within therapy there is an opportunity to have a new kind of relationship, one in which you can come to know yourself in a new way. Come as you are; you are welcome here.
I specialize in working with clients who are survivors, who are seeking support around transitions, and, more importantly, those who suffer alone. You don’t have to be alone anymore in that fear, anxiety, depression, or pain. I have worked extensively with those who have experienced the darkness of humanity, who are trying to navigate the murky waters of depression and the tension of anxiety, those who are striving to change their lives for the better.
I work from a warm, unconditional, integral, nonjudgmental stance. There is plenty of room to be judged in the outside world. Sometimes all we need is to be accepted for who we are. I work collaboratively to find creative ways to break free from entrenched patterns that are no longer serving you.
I value social justice, empowerment, honestly, trust, connection, open-mindedness, integration, compassion, self-care, and safety. I strive to provide a safe space for my clients. Self-care and safety are rarely acknowledged in today’s climate and they are two important factors that promote healing. I work to help everyone around me to find their voice and learn how to advocate for their needs and wants. Too often we find ourselves suffering, often due to lack of connection with others or ourselves. Through therapy we can discover the ways in which we can promote healing.
If given the chance the body, mind, and spirit will always gravitate towards healing.
