Master of Arts, Counseling Psychology
You’re not broken, though at times in life we can feel that way. Reaching out for support can be difficult, but it is the first step to feeling like life is working again. I help individuals and couples facilitate their process of living a fuller, deeper, more authentic, and balanced life through mindfulness-based and somatic psychotherapy. It’s an honor to sit with my clients and be a part of their journey.
I hold a master’s degree in transpersonal psychology from John F. Kennedy University as well as a bachelor’s in English literature with a minor in cross-cultural studies in language and art from San Francisco State University. I’m also certified in all levels of Reiki training. I enjoy studying many spiritual paths and healing modalities. Music, art, yoga, nature, meditation, and stories of the resiliency of the human spirit continue to inspire me.
My specialties include working with:
• Highly sensitive people, empaths, and introverts
• LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer-identified) issues and community
• Anxiety-related issues, stress, and trauma
My approach is client-based and mindfulness-based, as well as warm, lighthearted, and relational. We start with where you are, working to integrate all parts of yourself with kindness and self-compassion, going at a comfortable pace that allows healing to happen organically. I believe healing involves being authentic, and allowing all parts of oneself to be discovered, expressed, and embraced. My trust in this process comes from my work with clients and my own personal growth work.

Psychotherapy and The Highly Sensitive Person/Empaths
Working with mindfulness-based psychotherapy allows you to get curious and uncover some of the core beliefs and patterns that may be holding you back from living your fullest life. Through this work you can access different parts of yourself, known and unknown, bringing into awareness how you’re organized in life and how you may be reacting, consciously and unconsciously.
This allows you to become more present, have more choice, and change unconscious patterns. It also allows you to identify your unique and innate strengths and resources. We mostly grow from new embodied experiences, not just new ideas. This work allows that discovery and integration to happen as well helps you to identify possible tools to incorporate and help weather the storms of life.
