Do you feel stuck? Are you struggling or worried about someone you love? Do you want to improve the quality of your relationships? Reaching out for help and support is a courageous first step toward positive change.
I am a compassionate, collaborative therapist who offers high quality, personalized counseling services. I partner with individuals and couples to understand their unique needs and provide support and tools that empower them. Some of the issues I can help with are depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, low self-esteem, grief and loss, and relationship problems.
It is my privilege to assist you through life's challenges and struggles. I am committed to providing a nonjudgmental safe place for you to explore and tap into your personal strengths. Together we will discover how you can heal and move forward.
My name is Danielle Jochner. Most people call me Dani. My journey to become a therapist began as I worked through my own struggles and challenges. These experiences, coupled with a desire to help other people get “unstuck” so they may live full, healthy lives, led me to develop my client-centered approach to therapy.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology and received my master’s degree in counseling psychology, with an emphasis on professional clinical counseling, from John F. Kennedy University. I have worked in a community center as well as private practice. I have experience with children, teens, adults, couples, and families.
I utilize a variety of tools, techniques, and theories to help you focus on the root of your issues. This allows us to foster a positive, proactive discussion about healthy ways to improve your situation. Together we work to find ways that empower you to move toward a more healthy fulfilled life.
I believe that each person has the capacity to heal. Forgiveness is not about the person that hurt you, but about allowing yourself to let go of the pain and anger that holds you back. Gratitude, being grateful for each day and for those that love you, is vital. Honesty, hope, kindness, and compassion are all values that resonate with me, too.
