My first priority is to help create a safe-enough space for us to explore with honesty, clarity, and even humor your experiences, your relationships, and what feels true to you. This includes what happens in the therapy room, which can often mirror what happens in your other relationships.
I recently completed a two-year postgraduate program in psychodynamic psychotherapy at the Psychotherapy Institute in Berkeley, California. I am a member of the Friends of the Jung Institute in San Francisco, where I participated in study groups and case consultation. I have experience working with survivors of sexual violence and domestic violence in inpatient, outpatient, and legal settings, both with individuals and in groups.
My areas of expertise include gender identity, body image, individual and cultural trauma, relationship transitions, chronic pain, depression, and anxiety.
