You’re not broken, though at times in life we can feel that way. It can be difficult, but reaching out for support is the first step to feeling like life is working again. I work with individuals and couples to help facilitate their process of living a fuller, deeper, more authentic, and balanced life, through Mindfulness Based and Somatic Psychotherapy. It’s an honor to sit with my clients and be a part of their journey.
I believe healing involves being authentic, and allowing all parts of yourself to be discovered, expressed and embraced. My trust in this process comes from my work with clients and my own personal growth work.
I hold a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology with a focus in Transpersonal Psychology.
My approach to therapy is client based and mindfulness based, as well as warm, lighthearted and relational. We start with where you are, working to integrate all parts of yourself with kindness and self compassion. Our true Self, who we are, can sometimes be hidden by the ‘noise’ of the world and our life experiences. Through this work you can discover it again.
My specialties include working with:
* Highly Sensitive People
* Anxiety related issues, Stress and Trauma
* The LGBTQ Community
* Highly Sensitive Men
Call me if you're struggling and need support with; anxiety, stress, depression, relationship problems, life transitions, grief or loss, getting more in touch with your self or wanting to find the joy in life again.
Working with Mindfulness Based Psychotherapy:
Working with Mindfulness Based Psychotherapy allows you to get curious and uncover some of the core beliefs and patterns that may be holding you back from living your fullest life. Through this work you can access different parts of yourself, known, and unknown, bringing into awareness how you’re organized in life, and how you may be reacting, consciously and unconsciously.
This allows you to become more present, have more choice, and change unconscious patterns. It also allows you to learn what your strengths and resources are in life, which are unique and innate in each individual. We mostly grow from new embodied experiences, not just new ideas. This work allows that integration to happen.
Working with mindfulness, and cultivating curiosity and compassion in sessions, also helps you develop a skill, or practice, that you can incorporate into your life for continued growth and stress management.
